Messiah Lutheran is pleased to sponsor school supplies for Messiah's Food Shelf Clients.

Beginning Saturday, August 1st and continuing throughout August, Messiah's Mission Team is creating school backpacks for the elementary children. The backpack materials include school supplies, a Chrisitian bookmark, coloring book, or items related to faith building. The goal is to provide 100 backpacks. The Mission Team will provide backpacks, but we need help from the congregation for the school supplies.

In August, a "giving tree" will be displayed in the Commons Area with specific requests for school items. Simply take as many "apple" requests as you feel you want to provide, buy the items, and bring them to church. Please drop-off the supplies in the labeled baskets in the Commons Area.

Supplies should be brought to Messiah Lutheran Church NO LATER THAN August 31st. A collection basket is located in the Commons Area. If you have any questions, contact Deb Kubisiak.
