The mission is to assist each woman of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod in affirming her relationship with the Triune God so that she is enabled to use her gifts in ministry to the people of the world.
LWML stimulates Christian fellowship; furthers Christian growth; and works in the interest of Messiah's Lutheran Women's Missionary League.
Activities:
Helps women grow in their Christian faith
Plans events for the second Thursday of the month
Gets together for monthly devotions, Bible study, fellowship, encouragement, missions, and laughter through Lydia Circle
Collects Mites for Missions
Manages the email prayer chain
Provides baptism cards and booklets for newborns
Manages Campus Ministry for Messiah's young adults attending college
Sends birthday greetings to all confirmed women at Messiah
Provides Christian cards and napkins for sale to Messiah members and visitors
Serves at weddings and funerals at the church, when requested
