Overview of Sunday School at Messiah

Sunday school provides year-round Christian education for Messiah's children age three through senior high youth. Classes meet on Sunday mornings during the education hour (9:15 to 10:15 a.m.) and provide various educational opportunities to meet the different needs of our students.

Sunday school assists children and youth in finding meaningful directions for their lives. Bible teachings, Biblical life application, and the development of Christian friendship is the foundation for the children's and youth ministries of Messiah Lutheran Church.

All are welcome to participate in Sunday school.

Some of the yearly activities include:

• Adoption of Compassion International children
• Christmas program
• Food drive for Messiah's Food Shelf
• Singing throughout the year
• Special craft Sundays

Volunteers Opportunities

• Classroom assistant help
• Helping with administrative duties
• Leading music for opening and closing
• Senior High Youth helpers
• Teaching children and youth
